Home Remodeling Design Consultant

About the role

Bath Planet of Metro NY is seeking an ambitious, results-driven Home Remodeling Design Consultant to serve Nassau and Suffolk Counties. This position involves meeting with pre-qualified homeowners at scheduled in-home appointments, designing customized bathroom remodeling solutions, delivering professional presentations, building trust, and closing sales.

Responsibilities

• Meet with pre-qualified homeowners at scheduled in-home appointments
• Design customized bathroom remodeling solutions that fit each homeowner's style, needs, and budget
• Deliver a professional, consultative sales presentation
• Build trust and strong customer relationships
• Accurately measure project requirements and recommend the best solutions
• Close sales during the appointment
• Update customer information and sales activity in our CRM

Requirements

• Proven success in in-home sales or high-ticket closing
• Experience selling bathrooms, kitchens, windows, roofing, siding, flooring, HVAC, solar, or similar products
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
• Self-motivated with a competitive mindset
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to travel throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties

Qualifications

• Experience in the home improvement industry
• Knowledge of bathroom remodeling products and services
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Proficiency in CRM software
