Position Summary
A growing national company is seeking individuals to join a team of professional home inspectors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, articulate, outgoing, personable, and presentable, and follows our standard process to complete an accurate, thorough quality home inspection and detailed report.
Role And Responsibilities
- Required to have a basic knowledge of residential home systems and elements
- Work in various weather conditions, climb ladders, walk on roofs, access crawl spaces and attics, and stand for long periods of time
- Solid computer technology skills necessary for report writing and communications
- Stays current on latest company initiatives, policies, and procedures, while continually developing advanced technical knowledge in building science
- Punctuality, the ability to work independently, and a strong work ethic are also required
Qualifications And Requirements
- 2+ years of construction, real estate, or home repair experience required
- Strong understanding of building codes, laws, and government regulations
- Preferred degree in construction
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
- Physically fit for climbing ladders, walking on roofs, accessing crawl spaces and attics, and standing for long periods of time
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- May be required to enter homes that contain allergens such as pets, dust, mold, or other allergens

Review Plans And Ensure Compliance
- Inspect plumbing and electrical for code violations and issue violation notices
- Keep daily logs, write up reports, and take photographs
