Home Infusion - Registered Nurse

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Home Infusion, you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting in a growing specialized area of the nursing field. Our nurses have the time and a balanced schedule to build strong one-on-one relationships with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Challenge your clinical nursing (RN) skills by receiving continuous training on leading edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion. Certification and recertification expenses can be reimbursed for eligible RNs such as Certified Registered Nurse of Infusion (CRNI®).
• Provide a broad range of infusion therapies in patients’ homes.
• Use your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist patients in recovering in the comfort of their own home.
• Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment.
• Additional licensure may be required in multi-state service areas.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal customer service skills to interact with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other partners.
• Participate in on-call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current license in AZ.
• Minimum one year nursing experience.
• Strong IV insertion skills with a minimum of one year infusion/IV experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word to document and track patient care activity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Home healthcare experience is a plus but not required.
• CRNI certification is a plus but not required.

Education

RN Diploma, Associates, or B.S. degree in nursing.

Schedule

• Full-time position with a flexible schedule.
• Option to work a Monday–Friday schedule or a 4/10 schedule with rotating Mondays and Fridays off, as allowed by patient need.
• On-call is 100% telephonic (no in-person visits when on-call) and will be approximately two weeks per year.
• Anticipated weekly hours: 40.

You will visit patients throughout the Phoenix area, with a focus on the Tempe/South Central Phoenix area. You will earn your hourly rate for both patient and drive time.

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $29.10 – $62.32 per hour. This pay range represents the base hourly rate for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
