Home Infusion - Registered Nurse

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Home Infusion, you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting in a growing specialized area of the nursing field. This role offers a balanced schedule and the opportunity to build strong one-on-one relationships with patients and their families while providing high-quality care in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide a broad range of infusion therapies in patients’ homes.
- Deliver one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment.
- Use your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist patients in their recovery from the comfort of their own home.
- Challenge and expand your clinical nursing skills through continuous training on leading-edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion.
- Interact with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other partners using excellent written and verbal customer service skills.
- Participate in minimal telephonic on-call rotation (two weeks per year) for evening and weekend questions—100% telephone triage with no in-person visits required.
- Document and track patient care activity using Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a current license in the state of NY.
- Minimum one year of nursing experience, including at least one year of infusion/IV experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Home healthcare experience (a plus but not required).
- Certified Registered Nurse of Infusion (CRNI®) certification (a plus but not required).
Education
RN Diploma, Associates, or B.S. degree in nursing.
Schedule
- Flexible per diem schedule of 10–20 hours per week, primarily daytime hours.
- Coverage area: Western New York State (Buffalo/Amherst Area).
- Hourly pay includes both patient and drive time.
Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $32.01 – $68.55 per hour. This position is also eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range.
