Home Health Team Assistant
Overview
This job is in Peoria, IL. It is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm, with rotating weekends and holidays. Candidates with medical experience or scheduling experience are encouraged to apply. Experience working with multiple teams is preferred.
Position Summary
The Team Assistant provides non-clinical support to regional team members in delivering care to patients, across all Care Services. They manage agency referrals, ensure necessary information is available for patient visits, manage work queues, perform non-clinical pre-coding activities, update the EMR, coordinate access to care, monitor reports, and communicate with regional leadership and employees.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High School Diploma/GED
- Experience: One year in an office clerical setting or customer service environment
- Licensure/ Certification: N/A
- Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software; strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail-oriented
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: Three years in an office clerical setting or customer service environment
- Direct experience in a medical setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology

Pay
Actual pay for this position will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity. The expected pay range is $18.80 - $22.12 per hour.
Schedule
This is an Hourly position.
