Position Overview

The Speech Therapist delivers quality patient care based on physician orders, including assessments, treatments, care planning, and family education.

Responsibilities

• Providing speech therapy services as prescribed.
• Developing evaluations and treatment plans aligned with physician goals.
• Maintaining care plans and documenting patient progress.
• Coordinating services with healthcare team, families, and discharge planning.
• Ensuring confidentiality and effective communication.
• Serving as a clinical resource and providing evaluations and updates to physicians and team members.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted SLP license in the practice state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Preferred: at least one year of recent experience in an acute care setting.
