Home Health Speech Language Pathologist - PRN

About the role

You will evaluate, develop, and provide speech, language, voice, hearing, and swallowing therapy to patients in their homes or facilities. Your responsibilities include conducting assessments, administering diagnostic tests, creating and reviewing treatment plans, and documenting patient progress. You will educate patients and families on communication aids, provide counseling, and participate in care coordination and discharge planning. Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards are essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and provide speech, language, voice, hearing, and swallowing therapy to patients in their homes or facilities
• Conduct assessments and administer diagnostic tests
• Create and review treatment plans
• Document patient progress

• Participate in care coordination and discharge planning
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards

Requirements

• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology (ASHA)
• Minimum six months of experience as a speech therapist
• Current, unrestricted license and CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation

Preferred

• Home health experience

Pay

Compensation ranges from $85,400 to $117,500 annually.
