About the role
The Home Health Scheduler/Administrative Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring timely and efficient in-home care for seniors. This position involves managing caregiver schedules, coordinating patient visits, and supporting administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and confirm patient visits, adjusting as needed to meet demand.
- Communicate with caregivers, nurses, and therapists to coordinate appointments.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and patient information in EHR systems.
- Address scheduling conflicts or client concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Experience in scheduling, healthcare administration, or coordination.
- Proficiency in electronic health records and communication tools.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience in healthcare settings or administrative roles.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
