Dependable Home Health of Tucson is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to serve patients primarily in the Southwest Tucson area. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive in-home patient assessments
- Develop and update individualized plans of care
- Administer medications, treatments, injections, and wound care according to physician orders
- Monitor patient progress and identify changes in condition
- Communicate changes and concerns with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
- Educate patients and families on medications, disease management, safety, and wellness strategies
- Coordinate care with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
- Supervise and document care provided by LPNs and Home Health Aides (HHAs), as appropriate
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
- Help patients safely maintain their independence and quality of life at home
Requirements
- Current Arizona RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year of RN experience preferred
- Home health, hospice, rehabilitation, med-surg, or critical care experience is a plus
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team
