Home Health PT or OT Branch Director
About the role
The PT or OT Branch Director reports to the Market Executive of Operations and works at CWHH North Indianapolis, IN branch location. The position is exempt and full-time with a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Manages day-to-day branch operations to ensure operational efficiencies, quality of patient care, regulatory compliance, support of business development, and achievement of key performance indicators.
- Serves as the clinical leader, providing supervision and support to the Clinical Manager(s).
- Plans, implements, analyzes, and organizes operations for the Branch, delivering care for all patients served.
- Works with the Area Director of Operations or the AVP of Operations to establish Branch's revenue and budget goals.
- Maintains office operations in an efficient, productive, and safe environment, adhering to local ordinances and fire/safety regulations.
- Conducts quarterly quality improvement committee meetings, reviews patient satisfaction data, and addresses negative surveys.
- Communicates with the Area Director of Operations or the AVP of Operations for guidance, problem-solving, and program implementation.
- Partners with Sales Directors and Account Managers to meet budgeted admission goals and participates in sales and marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- Valid state driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile liability insurance.
- Current state license as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist.
- A minimum of 2 years of healthcare operations management experience, preferably within Home Health or Hospice environments.
- Management and people leadership experience, including motivating, educating, supervising, and supporting staff.
- Outstanding leadership skills with demonstrated experience in developing a cohesive team.
- OASIS experience, including OASIS certification (HCS-O, COQS, and/or COS-C), preferred.
- Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience is preferred.
- CMS PDGM billing knowledge or experience is preferred.
- Revenue and fiscal management experience, including overseeing multi-million-dollar budgets.
- Demonstrated understanding of CMS business management, relevant governmental regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
- Experience with quality improvement monitoring and reporting tools and methods.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay
The compensation range for this position is $93,000 - $128,000 per year, with the possibility of a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
Schedule
This role is full-time with a flexible schedule, typically Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time.
Travel
Up to 10% travel may be required, including local travel to other branch locations, attendance at regional or area meetings, and participation in annual conferences or organizational events.
Branch Size
The branch size is 269+ census, with a 4.0 STAR rating.
Annual Bonus Eligibility
This role is eligible for an annual bonus based on performance.
