About the role
The Branch Director manages day-to-day branch operations, ensuring operational efficiencies, quality of patient care, regulatory compliance, support of business development, and patient base growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee branch day-to-day onsite operations, ensuring efficient, productive, and organized office functions that support a safe and compliant work environment aligned with company policies and local regulations.
- Maintain financial, clinical, and operational leading and lagging indicators, managing to budget, and collaborate with Finance and Operations leadership to establish and achieve revenue and budget goals.
- Develop and implement strategic branch plans, performance action plans, and budgets that align with organizational objectives.
- Deliver growth strategies through partnerships with Sales to meet budgeted admission goals and participate in marketing initiatives.
- Demonstrate optimal patient outcomes by collaborating with Clinical leadership to enhance service delivery and care quality.
- Oversight of compliance with clinical quality standards and operational process adherence, including oversight of chart audits, timely billing, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Hire, train, and manage Clinical Managers and back-office associates, providing ongoing supervision, support, and development to promote effective performance and high-quality care delivery.
- Foster a positive and safe work environment that promotes retention, productivity, and alignment with organizational values.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Physical Therapist (PT) license in the applicable state.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care or related health care programs.
- Experience working in a home health or hospice care environment.
- Management and people leadership experience.
- OASIS experience.
- Understanding of federal, state, and local regulations governing home health agency operations.
- Ability to motivate, educate, supervise, and support staff and develop a cohesive team.
- Competence in utilizing quality improvement monitoring and reporting tools and methodologies.
- Experience overseeing multi-million-dollar budgets.
- Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platforms, particularly Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and Insurance.
- Ability to drive in various weather conditions.
- Availability during all operational hours.
- Up to 10% travel may be required.
- Travel may include periodic local travel to other branch locations, attendance at regional or area meetings, and participation in annual conferences or organizational events.

Pay
The compensation range for this position is $93,000 - $128,000 per year. This role is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
