Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA care by implementing individualized plans of care developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Perform therapeutic interventions focusing on functional strengthening, gait training, balance, and fall risk reduction to help patients reach their mobility goals.
• Report patient progress by documenting responses to treatment and communicating with the supervising PT to ensure a coordinated approach.
• Manage your caseload by setting your own schedule and visit cadence based on the plan of care.

Requirements

• Valid California Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• Driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Physical + TB test (within the last year).
• Professional liability and business license (if applicable).

Where You'll Be Working

We are seeking a clinician to cover the Antelope Valley - LA area, including Lancaster, Palmdale, and Acton. This high desert region offers a more relaxed pace and a lower cost of living than the rest of LA. The area has a strong military presence and a focus on aerospace, with opportunities for unique outdoor activities and minimal traffic.
