Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant Full Time

Position Overview Seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to deliver therapy interventions under the guidance of physical therapists and physicians, focusing on patient assessment, treatment, and education in a home health setting. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient well-being through skilled therapy services, including pain relief and functional development. Provide patient and caregiver education on device use and rehabilitation techniques, and communicate treatment progress and observations to supervisors and physicians. Assist in discharge planning, documentation, and compliance with professional standards set by the American Physical Therapy Association. Maintain confidentiality, record patient progress, and ensure timely documentation. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited PTA program, current state license, and valid CPR and driver’s license. Experience in home health therapy is preferred.
