About the Role

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will deliver skilled education, treatment, and interventions under the guidance of a physical therapist and physician, focusing on patient safety and functional improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services as directed, including treatments and procedures.
• Communicate regularly with patients and caregivers regarding the care plan.
• Assess patient conditions, report observations, and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Educate patients and caregivers on device use, rehabilitation techniques, and safety measures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members on patient care plans.
• Plan discharge procedures and communicate instructions to patients and families.
• Maintain documentation, adhere to ethical standards, and ensure confidentiality.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current, unrestricted state license as a PTA.
• Valid CPR certification.
