About the role

As a PRN Data Entry Specialist at Millennium Home Care, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records. You will work closely with our clinical team to ensure data accuracy and timely entry.

Responsibilities

• Accurately input patient information, including demographic data, medical history, and treatment plans, into our electronic health records system.
• Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring data integrity.
• Identify and correct data errors or inconsistencies.
• Organize and maintain physical and electronic patient files.
• Scan and index patient documents, ensuring proper storage and retrieval.
• Assist in generating reports as needed, such as patient demographics or treatment summaries.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

This position involves managing deadlines and a high volume of telephone communication. While primarily sedentary, some standing, walking, and minimal lifting may be required. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are essential. Occasional travel may be necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of six months of office experience.
• Proficiency in typing and other clerical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Familiarity with electronic health records preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Pay

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $16.20 to $24.30 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
