Home Health Director of Nursing

Job Title: Director of Nursing / Clinical Services / Clinical Manager Location: Manatee County & Sarasota County, FL Job Type: Full-Time Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as Director of Clinical Services. In this role, you will oversee all home health clinical operations, supervise direct care staff, and ensure exceptional, high-quality care for senior patients (ages 60+) across Manatee and Sarasota counties. Key Responsibilities Oversee home health therapeutic services, interdisciplinary plans of care, and daily clinical operations.Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise all direct home health care personnel.Manage agency Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs, regulatory compliance, and policy updates.Conduct case conferences, staff meetings, orientation, and community education projects.Collaborate closely with the Agency Administrator on staffing, budgeting, and operational objectives. Work Schedule Monday - Friday (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM).Requires availability for after-hours on-call client emergency support. Qualifications Active Florida RN License (or licensed physician).Minimum 5+ years of experience in home health/healthcare (supervisory experience preferred).Valid Driver's License (Company car provided for client home visits).Active Level 2 AHCA Background Check, TB test, and CPR certification (assistance provided if needed).Strong leadership abilities, clinical judgment, and expertise in community health standards.
