About the role

At Varco Home Health, you’ll provide one-on-one therapy support in patients’ homes, helping them improve independence and safely perform daily activities. This PRN position offers a flexible schedule, making it ideal for COTAs seeking work-life balance or additional income. Work location: on the road – Austin and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, and safety
• Reinforce therapy plans and home exercise programs
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising OT
• Educate patients and caregivers on safety and functional techniques
• Complete accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

• Active Texas COTA license (required)
• Home health experience preferred
• Reliable transportation & valid driver’s license
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience (preferred)

Skills

• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently in a home setting
