Home Health Aide wanted in Freehold - Split Shift

About the role

We are looking for a Full-Time Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our team and provide one-on-one care for a male client in Freehold, NJ. You will follow a personalized care plan in the patient's home, building genuine relationships while delivering attentive and compassionate care.

Schedule

• Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM and 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM
• Tuesdays and Thursdays: 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay

Starting pay is $22 per hour, with a $1,500 signing bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care.
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
• Administer medications and immunizations.
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of prior professional experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• CPR certification.
