In Home Health Aide

About the role

As an in-home caregiver, you will clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living
• Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene
• Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.
• Meal planning, cooking and baking
• Conversation and companionship
• Interactive Caregiving
• Assistance with mobility that may include use of transfer tools/equipment
• Assistance with medication
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed
• Provide proper electronic documentation of shift as well as cares

Requirements

• Experience in a caregiving role
• Must be available every other weekend and holiday
• 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Own reliable transportation, clean driving record, 3 years driving experience
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance and comfortable driving
• DHS and driving record background clearance
• Customer Service Excellence, Professional Boundaries required

Pay

Wage begins at $18 an hour; $20 an hour for Certified Nursing Assistants.

Schedule

Part-time and full-time hours available depending on your availability. Must be available every other weekend and holiday. Flexible schedules that work with school schedules, childcare, and other jobs.
