About the role

Maximum Care, Inc. is seeking a Direct Care Worker to join their team. Established for over 40 years, they support the elderly, disabled, and participants with intellectual disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Show appreciation through cash bonuses, referral bonuses, and recognition for going above and beyond.
• Flexible schedules available, including part-time and full-time options.
• Care for Participants' physical and emotional needs due to illness, injury, disability, etc.
• Provide home assistance such as light housekeeping, running errands, providing transportation, accompanying clients to appointments, assisting with medications, preparing meals, purchasing food, and providing personal assistance with general living needs.
• Offer companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging, and assisting individuals.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to complete a criminal background report.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods of time.
