Pay

Range: $20.00- $25.00/hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Job Duties

• Provide compassionate, hands-on support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity
• Enhance social well-being by establishing trusting relationships with clients and their families, providing compassionate companionship and emotional support
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, simple wound care, and other personal care tasks as directed by a nurse or therapist
• Maintain a safe home environment by performing client-directed light housekeeping tasks, ensuring a clean and comfortable living space
• Document and communicate effectively by accurately recording client care per policy and reporting updates or concerns to the supervising nurse or therapist

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required
• Ability to follow care plans and work independently in a home setting
• Knowledge of safe lifting and transfer techniques
• Experience in home health, long-term care, or personal caregiving is preferred but not required

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and access to an insured personal vehicle for home visits
• Physical capability to perform all essential job functions, including assisting with client mobility and personal care needs
• Ability to pass state mandated background check
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with clients, staff, and families
