Home Health Aide - Hospice

Overview

Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join their team as a Home Health Aide.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding, intake/output, ambulation, and assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home.

Requirements

• CNA Certification (Required)
• First Aid Basics Certification (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required within 90 days of hire)
• Previous Customer Service Experience (Required)
• Prior Hospice Experience (Preferred)

Pay

$15.75 - $20.46/hour

Schedule

Full Time (40 hours/week) Day Shift (Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM)
