Home Health Aide - Hospice

About the role

VNA Health at Home seeks a Home Health Aide to join our team. This is a Per Diem position with travel requirements. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, mobility, and completing necessary documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
• Aiding patients with mobility and transfers.
• Completing necessary documentation accurately and promptly.
• Communicating effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Fulfilling care plans and contributing to the development of personalized care strategies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a competency evaluation program.
• Candidates must be listed on the state Nurse Aide Registry.
• One year home health aide or nurse aide experience.
• Current CPR/BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross and compliance with state requirements.

Pay

The posted compensation range is $18.1459 - $25.63/hour, reflecting the lowest to highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.

Schedule

Hours vary, typically 2 hours per day, with 75% of the time spent traveling.
