Home Health Aide (HHA) - $26/hr

About the role

BAYADA is seeking Home Health Aides (HHA) to serve clients in the Washington and Orange County areas. Positions are available part-time or full-time, offering 8-hour and 12-hour shifts, day and evening options.

Responsibilities

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you'll provide personal care services, household support, and companion care services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
• Develop close relationships with clients while assisting with:
• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Ranging of motion/exercises
• Ambulation (transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders

Requirements

• A minimum of one year of professional home health or patient care experience is required.
• Exceptional applicants without experience may be considered and trained.
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
• Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned.

Pay

$26.00/hr., mileage reimbursement $0.55/per mile, and weekly pay
