Home Health Aide (HHA) - $26/hr

About the role

BAYADA is seeking Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide personal care and companionship services to adults in their homes in Franklin County. Positions are available part-time or full-time, offering 8-hour shifts during day or evening hours.

Responsibilities

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Provide household support tasks like light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
• Prepare and feed meals to clients as needed.
• Engage in range of motion exercises and assist with mobility, including transfers and the use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Remind clients about medication schedules.

Requirements

• A minimum of one year of professional home health or patient care experience is required.
• Exceptional candidates without prior experience may be considered and trained.
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
• Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned.
• The commitment to deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay

$26.00/hr., mileage reimbursement $0.55 per mile, and weekly pay.
