Job Responsibilities for CHHA – Home Health Aides
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Nail care
- Ranges of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Ambulation assistance
- Meditation assistance
Requirements
- At least one year of work experience
- Listed on the NJ Aide Registry, active and in good standing
- Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
- Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
- Meet all state requirements

- Must have access to reliable transportation

Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation: $20-21 per hour

About the Role
BAYADA Hospice is currently seeking an experienced CHHA for a full-time opportunity to complete hospice visits to clients located throughout Ocean or Monmouth County in NJ. As a Home Health Aide, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides home health aide, skilled nursing and palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the care required to remain at home.
