CHHA, Home Health Aide, Hospice, Full time
About the role
BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced CHHA for a full-time opportunity to complete hospice visits to clients located throughout Camden and Burlington counties.
Responsibilities
- Be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides home health aide, skilled nursing and palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.
- Offer flexible schedules, 1:1 patient ratio, and comprehensive benefits package.
- Must have access to reliable transportation.
- Activities of daily living:
- Light housekeeping
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Nail care
- Ranges of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home Management Tasks:
- Laundry
- Meal preparation
- Bed making
- Assisting with ambulation
- Medication assistance
Requirements
- Must have at least one year of work experience.
- Must be listed on the NJ Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
- Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.
- Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination.
- Meet all state requirements.

Pay
Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation: $21-$22 per hour
