About the role
Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) wanted for immediate per diem assignments in Huntington Station and throughout Suffolk County. We seek dependable, compassionate HHAs to provide quality, one-on-one care and help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Providing personal care, bathing, grooming, and hygiene assistance
- Assisting with mobility and transfers as appropriate
- Providing medication reminders as directed
- Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
- Supporting clients in maintaining their dignity, independence, and quality of life
Requirements
- Current New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification required
- At least 1 year of professional HHA experience
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Reliable transportation strongly preferred
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional approach to patient care
Required Health Documentation
- Physical examination completed within the past 12 months
- PPD or QuantiFERON test completed within the past year, or chest X-ray completed within the last 5 years
- MMR immunization documentation within the last 10 years
Pay
$19.65 per hour
Schedule
Flexible 4–12 hour shifts, including 4-hour short shifts available; per diem scheduling to fit your availability; weekly pay through direct deposit; local assignments in Huntington Station and surrounding Suffolk County areas.
