Home Health Aide

About the role

Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) wanted for immediate per diem assignments in Huntington Station and throughout Suffolk County. We seek dependable, compassionate HHAs to provide quality, one-on-one care and help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Providing personal care, bathing, grooming, and hygiene assistance
• Assisting with mobility and transfers as appropriate
• Providing medication reminders as directed
• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
• Supporting clients in maintaining their dignity, independence, and quality of life

Requirements

• Current New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification required
• At least 1 year of professional HHA experience
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Reliable transportation strongly preferred
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional approach to patient care

Required Health Documentation

• Physical examination completed within the past 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON test completed within the past year, or chest X-ray completed within the last 5 years
• MMR immunization documentation within the last 10 years

Pay

$19.65 per hour

Schedule

Flexible 4–12 hour shifts, including 4-hour short shifts available; per diem scheduling to fit your availability; weekly pay through direct deposit; local assignments in Huntington Station and surrounding Suffolk County areas.
