About the role

OCES is growing and expanding to 11 more towns on the south shore, including Quincy, Braintree, Weymouth, etc. OCES supports older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing vital information and coordination of services. The Home Care Program Supervisor will review, evaluate, and approve the work of assigned staff, assist with program development, and provide staff training.

Responsibilities

  • Assign, Review, Evaluate and Approve the work of assigned staff
  • Maintain the provision and effectiveness of authorized services
  • Provide training and support to Case Managers (CMs)
  • Participate in hiring program staff
  • Understand and adhere to OCES and funding source regulations, standards, and procedures
  • Distribute and interpret this information to staff
  • Advise and consult with other HC management staff from various disciplines on a regular basis
  • Aid HC Program Managers with other tasks upon request

Requirements

  • Interpersonal and Conflict Resolution Skills
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Strong Supervisory and Leadership Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in social work or related field
  • Current Social Work License preferred
  • Three years of experience in a social services environment
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
