Qualifications

• Educational requirement: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: EKG interpretation knowledge and Health related career experience are required. A Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) or Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) certification is preferred. Candidates who do not currently hold a CRAT or CCT certification will be required to obtain either of these certifications within 1 year of commencing employment.
• Special Skills: Ability to read, write, and understand the English language; ability to perform basic mathematics; ability to recall multiple cardiac rhythm abnormalities and convey these to the department lead technician and or physician expeditiously carry out directions; must possess a mature, sympathetic and caring attitude with the ability to be sensitive to the varied needs of the NEMG patient population; must be flexible, cooperative, and able to meet the demands of the Holter Technician position using appropriate communication techniques. Ability to manage time well and make efficient use of work hours. Ability to facilitate department activities through interaction with other departments. Ability to contribute to the fiscal integrity of the Holter department. Is a role model for Service Excellence. Good communication skills, Dysrhythmia skills, ECG, good with technology, and good typing skills are required.
