About the Role
As our Accounting Manager, you’re the wizard behind the numbers—making sure everything from payroll to invoices flows smoothly. You know the ins and outs of HR, Loss Prevention, and house rules, all while keeping things on track with Aimbridge Hospitality’s standards. Your superpower? Responsibilities
- Polished Presence: Show up sharp, look your best, and always greet everyone with a friendly smile—while keeping things professional, positive, and confidential behind the scenes.
- Hotel Harmony Hero: Keep every department running smoothly and every rule followed. From payroll to hotel systems, you make complex stuff look easy and fun.
- Money Maestro at Work: Handle every cash, bill, and audit with precision. Daily cash, billing, collections, and audits are always in perfect harmony, with every penny accounted for.
- Payroll and Record Rockstar: Keep payroll and employee records accurate, ensuring paychecks, new hires, and benefits stay on track. Produce a productivity report every Tuesday and track vacation and sick days with precision.
- Leading Teams & Energizing Meetings: Oversee Guest Services and Night Audit teams to ensure accounting standards are met, lead Night Auditor training sessions, and make staff meetings fun and effective. Jump in for MOD duty when needed.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree with 3 years’ related experience, Bachelor’s with 1 year, or 5 years’ progressive hotel/related field experience.
- Strong proficiency with Windows systems, spreadsheets, typing, and basic PC troubleshooting.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Ability to communicate clearly, solve problems efficiently, and handle high-pressure situations.
- Skilled at understanding complex information, addressing concerns, and working with financial data and basic math.
