Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will oversee and support key accounting functions, lead month-end close activities, assist with audits, manage the accounting team, identify process improvements, and partner with leadership on financial planning and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and billing functions.
• Lead month-end close activities and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Aid with multiple annual audits and compliance requirements.
• Manage bank reconciliations, cash receipts, collections, and related accounting processes.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Partner with leadership on financial planning, reporting, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of general accounting, financial reporting, AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Experience supervising or leading accounting staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Pay

$80,000 - $85,000 annually
