About the Role

Join our team as a Convention Services Manager! As the Catering & Convention Services Manager you will drive catering and food‑and‑beverage sales while ensuring the hotel shines. You’ll build relationships with clients and groups, create standout events, and work with the Director of Sales or Director of Catering & Convention Services to hit revenue goals, wow meeting planners, and advance your career.

Responsibilities

• Knock meeting planner goals and food & beverage sales out of the park while keeping guests smiling.
• Build relationships with clients, take them on property adventures, and participate in local happenings to make every event unforgettable.
• Stay ahead by tracking market trends and consistently bringing fresh ideas to the table.
• Spread positive vibes with guests and colleagues, attend key meetings, and keep the hotel running smoothly.
• Deliver flawless event orders on time, communicate changes quickly, and help every celebration shine.
• Tackle any other fun challenge assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Creativity and knowledge of food and beverage/events, plus professional selling skills (opening, probing, supporting, closing) desired.
• Valid driver’s license for the applicable state required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to negotiate, convince, and influence clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer use, with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently and present effectively.

Pay

This position is an overtime‑eligible manager (OEM); overtime applies and is calculated accordingly.
