About the role

The Senior Project Architect at Hixson Architecture Engineering Interiors is responsible for leading the design process from preliminary stages through construction documents, specializing in Food and Beverage (GMP) design.

Responsibilities

• Develops and leads projects up to $500 million for major brands in the food and beverage industry.
• Engages with clients to establish and maintain strong relationships.
• Provides technical leadership and consults on complex design issues.
• Coaches and mentors junior staff members.
• Solves problems creatively and efficiently within the scope of the project.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Engineering, or equivalent.
• Registered Architect in the U.S.
• 10+ years of experience, with a focus on Food and Beverage (GMP) design.
• Proficient in Revit software.
• Strong client relationship building and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and professional growth commitments.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time independently.

Qualifications

• BA, Architecture, BSAE or equivalent.
• Registered Architect in the U.S.
• 10+ years of experience, with a focus on Food and Beverage (GMP) design.
• Working knowledge of Revit.
• Proven success in developing client relationships and leading technical teams.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.

• Self-starter with the ability to manage time and work priorities independently.
