Interiors - Project Architect

Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Ensure the overall design intent of the project is incorporated into detailed documentation.
  • Technical Content: Perform product research, write specifications, check reports, plans, estimates, and calculations for accuracy.
  • Coordination: Set up project team software parameters, manage standards, foster professional relationships, and communicate with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors.
  • Supervision: Supervise preparation of technical drawings, take personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace, and provide technical support and project communications.
  • Client Interface: Develop a positive relationship with client leadership, communicate with client representatives, and provide technical support and project communications.
  • Teamwork: Receive project direction, assist in planning and conducting work, attend on-site visits, field reviews, and project meetings.
  • Business Development: Participate in business development meetings to target project, client, or market opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture required. Ten plus years’ experience preferred.
  • Registered Architect with current license required. NCARB registration preferred.
  • LEED credential required within 12 months of employment.
