The Phoenix office of SmithGroup is looking for a Project Architect - Interiors to join our Corporate, Commercial and Civic Interior Design team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the CCC Interior Design Studio in technical development and oversight working closely with interior designers, design architects, technical architects and owners in development of documentation for owner approval and permitting.
- Supervise, prepare, coordinate, and complete construction documents packages per SmithGroup standards with a focus on life safety and technical detailing for multiple small to medium-scale Interior Design projects.
- Lead day-to-day construction administration activities including coordination with the contractor, owner, and consultants to maintain project progress.
- Mentor, provide oversight, and monitor the work performed by junior staff.
- Establish and execute project work plan and staffing requirements.
