Histotechnologist - Pathology Lab | Full-Time, Evenings
NewYork-Presbyterian Queens’ Pathology and Clinical Laboratories Department is accredited by the American College of Pathologists, the New York State Department of Health, and The Joint Commission. The lab examines over 22,000 surgical specimens annually, including 2,000 frozen sections and 750 external consultations, making it one of the largest and busiest Anatomic Pathology labs in New York.
About the role
Perform all routine histotechnology procedures, including accessioning specimens, grossing, embedding, cutting, staining, cover slipping, labeling, and distribution using state-of-the-art equipment.
Schedule
Full-Time, Evenings
Monday – Friday, 3:00 am – 11:00 am
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- New York State License as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Histotechnologist, or Clinical Laboratory Technician
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in Histology (preferred)
- Experience with special staining procedures (preferred)

Pay
Salary Range: $94,400 – $118,000/Annual
All roles require on-site presence; employees must live within a commutable distance to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens. Travel expenses are not reimbursed.
