Historic Triple B Ranch is seeking a full-time, live-on-site Ranch Caretaker in Woodland Park, Colorado.
About the role
This position requires a mature, dependable, drama-free individual who can handle daily horse care, ranch maintenance, and independent work in all weather conditions. Housing is provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Daily horse care: feeding, watering, turnout, grooming, basic doctoring
- Stall/corral cleaning and facility upkeep
- Fence repair, mowing, snow removal, trail maintenance
- Equipment checks and basic repairs (ATV, tractor, vehicles)
- Ordering grain, coordinating farrier visits, assisting with scheduling
- Occasional guest check-ins or light housekeeping
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized ranch environment
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional ranch or equine experience required; 7–10 years preferred
- Must live on-site full-time
- Alcohol-free, drug-free, drama-free lifestyle
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Reliable, mature, and able to handle long days outdoors
- Experience with horses and ranch work
- Able to lift 75–100 lbs and perform physical labor
- Comfortable working in heat, snow, rain, and mountain weather
- Weekend availability required
- Basic Microsoft Outlook skills
Pay
- Hourly or monthly pay (DOE)
