About the Role
St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a full time Histology/Cytology Assistant to assist the technologist in all work areas in order to assure that patient care is facilitated.
Responsibilities
- Perform preparatory work on histology/cytology specimens
- Accessioning, registering, and ordering of specimens
- Specimen and slide preparation
- Various histology/cytology filing
- Assist the technologist in all work areas
Supervision
This position works under supervision of the appropriate clinical leadership.
