About the Role
St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a full time Histology/Cytology Assistant to assist the technologist in all work areas in order to assure that patient care is facilitated.
Responsibilities
- Assist the technologist in all work areas to facilitate patient care
- Perform preparatory work on histology/cytology specimens
- Accession, register, and order specimens
- Prepare specimens and slides
- Perform various histology/cytology filing tasks
Supervision
This position works under supervision of the appropriate clinical leadership.
