Responsibilities
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Perform work specified on the repair order with accuracy and in a timely manner
- Stay up to date on most current technology, requirements and processes regarding service repairs
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed and if so, the time needed to complete the additional repairs
Requirements
- Applicants must be 18 years or older and must have a current and valid domestic driver’s license (AZ preferred) with a clean driving record
- The new Gen-4 facility includes 50 service bays, expanded service lanes, and upgraded diagnostic technology
- No Sundays or Evening Shifts required
Qualifications
- Vocational education
- Prior experience as a Service Mechanic with proven success on the job is a plus, but not required!
- ASE certified is a plus, but not required
- Experience with using a DMS such as CDK is preferred, but not required
