About the role
The project engineer will oversee daily site operations, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor groundwater treatment systems
- Coordinate maintenance activities
- Prepare and submit compliance reports
- Manage site personnel
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders
- Implement operational improvements for efficiency and environmental protection
- Ensure proper documentation of site activities
Requirements
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, landfill operations, and compliance requirements
- Experience in project management, team supervision, and facility maintenance
- Strong skills in data analysis, report preparation, and problem-solving
- Effective communication abilities for stakeholder coordination and team collaboration
- Familiarity with safety guidelines and practices in landfill management
- Proficiency in using technical tools and software related to site management
- Possession of at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Previous experience in treatment system operations, environmental compliance, or a related area is advantageous
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Must pass a drug test
- Must be a US citizen
- Must be comfortable working in an office and field setting
