About the role

Sarasota Memorial and its network of outpatient care centers offer a full spectrum of digital imaging and radiology services. From highly specialized technologists and Radiology nurses to board-certified Radiologists, we offer the best screening, diagnostic and treatment options, scheduled within 24 hours with fast, accurate results. All of Sarasota Memorial’s radiology and imaging centers are fully accredited by the American College of Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
• Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation or prescribed radiofrequency beams for radiologic diagnosis and/or intervention.
• Utilizes magnetic fields to produce quality MR imaging.
• Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Requirements

• ARRT: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• FL RT: Florida Radiologic Tech
• BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR

Qualifications

• MRI Registry required.

Schedule

• Every Sunday–Wednesday from 7:30 pm–6:00 am
• Every Sunday–Tuesday from 7:30 pm–6:00 am
• Every Monday–Friday from 2:00 pm–10:30 pm
• Every Wednesday–Saturday from 8:00 pm–6:30 am

Pay

Salary is determined based on years of experience in the MRI field and ranges from a minimum of $37.80 to a maximum of $56.70 per hour. Rate of pay will be determined upon completion of a successful interview with department leadership.
