About the role

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation or prescribed radiofrequency beams for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention and utilizes magnetic fields to produce quality MR imaging. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
• Monitors patient safety during procedures, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborates with Radiologists to interpret images and provide necessary reports.
• Ensures equipment is functioning properly and maintains cleanliness and organization of the MRI suite.
• Adheres to radiation protection protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.

Requirements

• ARRT: Amer Reg Rad Technologist
• FL RT: Florida Radiologic Tech
• BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
• MRI Registry

Pay

• Salary is determined based on years of experience in the MRI field ranges from a minimum of $37.80 and a maximum of $56.70
• Rate of pay will be determined upon completion of successful interview with department leadership

• Every Sunday-Wednesday from 7:30pm-6:00am
• Every Sunday-Tuesday from 7:30pm-6:00am
• Every Monday-Friday from 2:00pm-10:30pm
