Hiring Manager

About the role

As Hiring Manager, you’ll be responsible for owning our hiring process from end to end, including:

• Building and maintaining a hiring pipeline across all of our departments.
• Working with the hirer to draft an accurate job description and ambitious hiring timeline.
• Advertising the job description on relevant platforms, and re-posting when necessary.
• Identifying promising candidates to pass along to the hirer.
• Working with the hirer to assess the quality of candidates.
• Ensuring offers are made at the right time and with the right details.
• Passing off new hires to the onboarding team promptly.

What We're Looking For

• 2–3 years minimum relevant work experience.
• Familiarity with technical AI Safety research topics and methods.
• A strong network in the AI Safety ecosystem.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple priorities at once.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable working with tools like Google Workspace, Notion, Airtable; comfort using AI assistants like Claude for drafting and workflows.
• Proactive and comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
• Comfort working with distributed teams and working remotely.

Location: Remote, global. Salary: $80,000–$130,000 depending on experience and location.
