HIRING in Long Island - Off Premise Beer Sales Representative

About the role

Union Beer Distributing is seeking an Off-premise Sales Representative to sell, promote, and grow our portfolio of world-class craft, import, and domestic beers in the Long Island region. This role involves calling on an assigned account base to merchandise inventory, assist in sales calls, and participate in company initiatives. The position is designed to develop the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to advance to a Sales Representative role.

Responsibilities

• Develop a rapport with an assigned customer base and promote the goodwill of the company.
• Ensure all product is rotated and code policy is followed.
• Properly merchandise accounts with permanent and paper point-of-sale (POS) materials.
• Conduct promotions in accounts regularly or as required.
• Organize and execute floor displays and placement of window neons and banners at all accounts.
• Execute monthly goals related to business activities.
• Maintain a regular schedule of weekly appointments with accounts in the assigned area.
• Daily travel throughout the assigned territory; must have reliable transportation to efficiently visit multiple accounts per day.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Certified Beer Server certification preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Valid and clean driver’s license with active auto insurance.
• Knowledge of Suffolk & Nassau County.
• Ability and willingness to work independently.
• Reliable transportation for daily travel throughout the assigned territory.

Pay

Total compensation range including bonuses: $55,000 - $60,700 per year. Car stipend provided.
