About the role
This position requires 2 years of relevant experience outside of school.
Responsibilities
- Obtain blood specimens and collect non-blood specimens such as urine, sputum, and throat swabs for laboratory testing.
- Use straight needles and draw up to 50 times per day.
- Draw blood on patients ranging from infants to geriatrics.
- Work in a fast-paced and hectic environment.
- Label specimens and handle them properly.
- Process specimens for laboratory testing.
Requirements

Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience outside of school is required.
Skills
Must have the ability to use straight needles and draw blood multiple times per day.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour. Benefits are subject to change and may include medical, dental, vision, critical illness, accident, hospital, life insurance, short and long-term disability, health spending account, transportation benefits, employee assistance program, time off/leave, and 401(k) retirement plan.
