About the role

This position requires 2 years of relevant experience outside of school.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain blood specimens and collect non-blood specimens such as urine, sputum, and throat swabs for laboratory testing.
  • Use straight needles and draw up to 50 times per day.
  • Draw blood on patients ranging from infants to geriatrics.
  • Work in a fast-paced and hectic environment.
  • Label specimens and handle them properly.
  • Process specimens for laboratory testing.
