Mandatory Requirements
- 2 Years Of Armed FPS-PSO Experience
- Military (with Honorable Discharge)
- Policing Background Experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be 21 & Over
Job Duties
- Access Control and Identification Checks
- Security Equipment Monitoring
- Roving Patrols
- Surveillance Camera Monitoring
- Reporting Daily Activities and Incidents
- Using Magnetometer and X-ray Machines
- Clear Communication Using Two-Way Radios
- Emergency Response and Evaluation Procedures
- Performing CPR or First Aid
- Maintaining Credentials Per Contract Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- At Least 21 Years of Age
- United States Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident with Honorable Discharge
- Two (2) Years of Security (Armed) Experience or One (1) Year of Law Enforcement Experience
- Two (2) Years of Armed Service with Honorable Discharge
- Fluent in English
- Qualify with a Revolver or Semi-automatic
- Strong Knowledge of Security Industry
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Customer Service Driven Mindset
- Effective Communication and Presentation Skills
- Able to Communicate with All Levels of Internal and External Customers
Education Requirements
- CPR/American Red Cross Certification
- High School Diploma/GED Certification
- MD Armed Guard Card
- Baton M.E.B. Training
- All Required PSO Training and Certs
- O.C. Aerosol Spray CPR/American Red Cross Certification
- 16 Hour X-Ray and Magnetometer Basic Training
- Exhibits 72/64 Hours Firearms Qualification
- Initials Weapon Training
- DHS Letter of Suitability
- FPS Orientation Certificate
- DHS Suitability
