Following established conventions and guidelines, codes and abstracts the medical records of the diverse population of ER records with facility E&M levels. Meets departmental accuracy and production standards.

Requirements

• One to three years of experience.
• Associate’s degree preferred - Health Information Management, Health Information Technology or any related field.
• Certifications required - CCS, CPC, RHIA, or RHIT.
